Spectrum Cable is to launch its first product in 2019, with a cable knit set to be launched as part of its ‘Spectral’ cable line, it has been confirmed.
The company’s founder and chief executive officer, Simon Dyson, said: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Spectrum on the Spectrum Cable knit collection and we look forward to delivering the best possible product for our customers.’
It follows the launch of the brand’s latest ‘Spectra’ cable last year.
The fibre-based cable, which is currently in production at two factories in Newcastle, features a ‘sporting’ woven knit fabric that looks like a traditional cable.
It is made from 100 per cent wool, with the ‘spectra’ fibre woven into the fabric.
Simon Dyson said: The Spectrum Cable Knit Collection is an exciting new product from the world’s leading cable knit manufacturer.
We are excited to be launching this collection of innovative knit cables at this year’s Spectrum Cable Awards, which will be held in London on October 12, 2019.
The Spectrum Cable company is also looking to expand its fibre-to-the-node fibre optic network in 2019 with the launch, he said.
